The South Bay Literacy Council

The South Bay Literacy Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in South Bay, Los Angeles. Our mission is to empower adults by teaching them to speak, read, and write English effectively, helping them navigate the complexities of modern society with confidence.

 

Entirely volunteer-driven, we proudly serve residents across all 18 South Bay cities and communities, including Torrance, Lomita, Harbor City, Wilmington, San Pedro, Carson, Gardena, Lawndale, Hawthorne, Inglewood, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills Estates, Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, and El Segundo. Our dedicated volunteers offer tutoring at several convenient locations throughout the South Bay area.
